Customize widgets on a dashboard

Is there a way to customize the columns displayed in a widget? For example, I have added the "My Open Tasks" widget to my dashboard. I would like to hide/remove some of the columns and re-order the other columns. Is this possible?

  Susan,

  While it is not possible to configure the columns in the "My Open Tasks" widget or similar pre-defined widgets, you CAN create a report that mimics the same functionality as those widgets and customize/reorder the columns however you'd like.
