How Do I Link Custom Block code with The out of the box question types

Hi, 

 

I am trying to convert the checkbox into a toggle switch and for that, I am using custom block. Now, I am successfull in getting the look and feel via custom block but i am unable to set onChange value of the custom built checkbox. 

 

My question is around how to access the value or id of custom block. 

 

I tried clientID.code.<the id of my html tag> but failed.

 

Can anyone help?
